Good morning, Gentle Reader. For those of you who don’t follow me on Twitter, I thought you might appreciate a digest of some of my recent publications. To that end, I am linking three recent articles written on a range of topics.
Just before Halloween, First Things Magazine was kind enough to publish my piece in which I argue that even the “spooky season” has been redeemed by the Risen Christ.
Last week, the Cateclesia Institute—a wonderful network of top-notch theologians and biblical scholars—published my piece on Paul’s curious comments concerning “Baptism for the Dead.”
This morning, my debut piece with The American Conservative on “Bible Belt Religion” went live. Check it out (along with the others)!
I am humbled by the opportunities I have received from such venues, and even more so by those of you who read and support my erratic scribblings. Thanks you and God bless you all.
If you have found value in my work and writing, then this may be an opportunity for you to support my future endeavors. Given the time and resources it takes to research and write books, articles, lessons, and all the rest of it, I can’t do this work apart from your generosity.
