My first collection of stories, Arkansas Traveler, was set to be released near the end of last year. It wasn’t. There were few issues involved (namely, I presumed too much concerning how quickly we could complete the publishing process, I tried to do the typesetting myself [which was a disaster] rather than immediately putting it into the hands of a pro, and we hoped to find a printer that was less cost prohibitive than the initial printer we chose as their costs have gone up).
The bad news is that I have kept you waiting too long. I apologize for that. But the good news is that the book is coming and will hopefully be ready—ink, paper, and all—this Summer.
I thank you for your patience. Your interest in this collection has been so encouraging. Y’all are the best! However, if you would like a refund, I understand. Just let me know.
At any rate, I hope that you guys enjoy these stories as soon as they are available because you I wouldn’t be writing them.
Thank you! I have wondered what happened and it’s good to know that it is still in the works. I will patient wait for the publication as I am confident that it will be worthwhile waiting for!
Appreciate your note and pleased to stand up for your special project. Plan to pre-order additional books for friends, to celebrate all of this.
